Choose the type of registration based on your business size:
Basic Registration: For small businesses with annual turnover below ₹12lakhs. State License: For medium-sized businesses with turnover between ₹12lakhs and ₹20 crores. Central License: For large businesses with turnover above ₹20 crores or those operating in multiple states.
FSSAI authorities will process your application. In some cases, they may conduct a physical inspection of your premises. Receive Registration Certificate:Once approved, you will receive the FSSAI registration or license, which must be displayed at your business premises

Business Address Proof (Rental agreement, utility bill, etc.)
Passport-sized Photograph of the applicant
Partnership Deed or Company Incorporation Certificate (ifapplicable)
Food Product List (for manufacturers or packagers)
FSSAI Food Safety Management Plan (for larger businesses)
Once you have finalized your registration, an FSSAI registration number will be provided to you. It is essential to display this number on your packaging and products as necessary. The registration remains valid for a period of 1 to 5 years, based on the type of registration or license you hold.
